Why are Savannah Cats so Expensive?: The price of Savannah cats will vary as there are a number of factors that determine the actual cost. The earlier generation females are of the greatest value, since the males will typically be sterile. Then as the generations progress down from the Serval, the males will become more valuable to breeders who are working toward progressing the Savannah breed forward since the later generation males are now fertile. Additionally, Savannah kittens are also priced on how well they meet the TICA published breed standard.
